Cupcakes listening
activity
This is
supposed to be for 1st grade children, about the food topic. The
activities should take one session.
Lyrics
All you
have to do is take a cup of flour!
Add it to
the mix!
Now just
take a little something sweet, not sour!
A bit of
salt, just a pinch!
Baking
these treats is such a cinch!
Add a
teaspoon of vanilla!
Add a
little more, and you count to four,
And you
never get your fill of...
Cupcakes!
So sweet and tasty!
Cupcakes!
Don't be too hasty!
Cupcakes!
Cupcakes, cupcakes, CUPCAKES!

Firstly, Good job! I think the activities are cute and motivating. In my opinion readers don´t want the typical activities which appear in textbooks; if they visit a blog, the will want interesting and surprising activities. My philosophy is “My blog must include funny activities, because it is enough with the boring activities which appear in textbooks”. I like you share it.
ResponderEliminarSecondly, your activities are for 1º grate and in this age students like paint and color and it´s a point you regard it.
The presentation is correct and the level, but in your blog there isn´t a link between theory and practice, maybe it could be good if it appeared in the blog the vocabulary that students have learnt in the class. And maybe the song is fast to sing, for me it´s the case.
